Hi all! So... if you guys are in my social media circles (facebook, Instagram, twitter... etc)... you already might noticed my absence. I'm trying to take a break from social media. Why woman should not call / text a man too much (Eng & Thai)

What is calling / texting too much? If you feel the need to tell him everything you’re doing… that’s obviously too much. I still see some girls wanting to call or text her BF multiple times per day, that’s sweet, but just be careful.

During the beginning of relationship, it is not weird if both of you text and call each other multiple times a day, and can’t get each other out of your mind. Men and Women have no difference during this period. But as time goes, there will be a point where you realise that you have to focus on your job, career, or whatever other aspect of life you have. At that point, relationship might not be his first priority. Not that he doesn’t love you, but he would want to be successful in order to have a better quality future with you. But you need to understand and be supportive about this. And you also understand that for man, they feel like they need to achieve something, be successful to gain respect from the society. Therefore, career plays a lot of part in men’s life.

Classic question: Why is it that when a man focus on his job , they put relationship later? I’m a woman and I can still go to work and think about him?

Think 5 minutes before you pick a fight on your boyfriend / girlfriend

There are multiple situations and times in relationship where an incident happens and you are just so overwhelmed by the emotion that automatically made you march directly to that person and pick a fight immediately. Sometimes you end up understanding each other more, but I see that most of the times, regret of what being said and brought up.

Emotion makes most argument longer and unnecessarily drama. People say the more you are closer the healthier if you have a fight once in a while. I agree. But the fight should be sensible, not throwing emotions to each other irresponsibly. Some problem can be solve in a shorter time and a peaceful manner, if emotion wasn’t involve.

But you’re pissed! How can you not get emotional?

That is why I say, give yourself 5 minutes before you march over to pick a fight with him/her.

You tried to contact your boyfriend from 9:00 pm to 12:00 am, but he went silent. You found out the next day that your boyfriend went out to strip club with his bosses and investors, from his co-worker.

I know you can wear tartan and plaid any other time, but there's something about this season that makes you wanna where them even more. Or is it just me? FYI I'm not going for a Japanese school girl look. That seems to be how the ppl perceive in this country.

Why men like women who eat a lot, yet want them skinny

Let me tell you an irony. Men always say stuff like, ‘I like confident woman, but also a caring and homey one’. ‘I like a funny woman who gets humor, but doesn’t talk a lot’. ‘I like a beautiful  looking woman, but doesn’t put on too  much makeup’. ‘I like a woman who have time for me, but give me space’.  And out of all these, the most annoying one has to be ‘I like a woman who enjoys food and eat a lot, but still skinny’.

TADA---!!!! Call it double standard or whatever, but these ideals are pretty true. When women hear these argument, most of them roll their eyes and secretly in their mind, goes… arrrrrgggg.

I tell you one thing. Men don’t even know what they want. But if you want them to express honestly, these would be it.

But after thinking and analyzing these ideals for a while, I came to a conclusion. They actually make sense. Today I’m going to focus on the ‘eat-a-lot but skinny’ part. So here are the thoughts behind.

2 Looks in 1 Day

So... in the morning, I had to dress formal (ish) to be ready to appear on TV program, as a translator for Japanese artist, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. But that evening I had to go to the venue to make sure the setting and everything's done; therefore, I should ditch my suit and put on something comfy... hence the hoodie look.

朝、テレビ番組できゃりーぱみゅぱみゅさんの通訳として出ないと行けないので、ちょっとフォーマルに。夕方には現場に行かないと行けないので、ちょっと楽にフード付きカーデで。

คือ... ตอนเช้า Aki ต้องแต่งตัวดูเป็นทางการ (นิดหน่อย) เพื่อเป็นล่ามให้ศิลปินญี่ปุ่น Kyary Pamyu Pamyuในรายการทีวีอะคะ แต่เย็นวันนั้นก็ต้องไปสถานที่จัดงานเพื่อดูความเรียบร้อย Akiเลยทิ้งสูทและเปลี่ยนเป็น Hoodie ... สบายกว่าเยอะ

My Formal Style inTokyo (02)

So this was the last day of the conference, and there was going to be a special concert at the end. I thought I should dress a little bit rough just to enjoy the concert, a rock concert at the end. At first I wasn't sure whether I should go with boots or red heels.... but... red heels add more feminine touch to the whole outfit... so I went with the red heels.

お仕事最終日です。最後にライブがあるので、ライブらしいコーデをしました。ロックなライブなので（笑）、、、最初はブーツで行こうかなと思ったんですけど、赤いヒールの方がちょっとセクシーに女の子っぽいと思い、ヒールにしました。

นี่เป็นวันสุดท้ายของการประชุมและจะมีคอนเสิร์ตพิเศษในตอนท้ายด้วย เลยจัดสไตล์ร็อคนิด ๆ เพราะศิลปินเป็นศิลปินร็อค ตอนแรก Aki ก็ไม่แน่ใจว่าจะบู๊ตหรือรองเท้าส้นสูงสีแดงดี .... แต่ ...ส้นสูงสีแดงเพิ่มความหญิงมากกว่า เลยไปกับรองเสีแดงแล้ะกัน

My Formal style inTokyo

So... went to Tokyo for a week for a conference. It's October and the weather's just right in Tokyo. Well, since it was a conference, I really need to dress formal / professional, but my inner fashion blogger me won't surrender to the normal black or navy blue blazer and pants/skirt. So here is what I wore.

Gold and White

Living in Bangkok, Thailand doesn't really give you the opportunity to wear fur, leather, knit, boots ....etc for the fall and winter. But what I do is to try and incorporate the trend and style of each season to what is practical in this tropical weather. As for this fall and winter, I would probably play a lot with metallic, rusty pastel shades, burgundy red, grey, gold, and some bling stuff... For this outfit, it's all white, but added gold accessories and shoes (can't wear boots... so a gladiator heels) just to make sure it got some bling to it. I know I know... this is not fall fashion at all, but... I try. 

   バンコクの暑さでは、秋冬のファッションもあまり楽しめない私です。ファー、レザー、ニット、ブーツ等はここではかなり頑張らないと着れませんね。なので、私はなるべくそのシーズンのトレンドや小物で季節のスタイルを楽しんでいます。今年の秋冬は、メタリック、ちょっとしぶいパステル、ゴールド、レッド、等が気になりますね。このコーデも、ただのオールホワイトだとつまんないので、ゴールドを取り入れました。アクセサリーとグラディエーターヒールで（だってブーツは暑いんだもん）。こう見たら全然、秋冬じゃないよね。でも頑張ってます。

Silver Bag

I Love Shopping. Need I say more. But working make it really hard for me to go shopping, plus weekend department stores are like packed! So online shopping have become my thing lately. I've been shopping a lot from Japanese online store, Chinese, US, UK... etc. I don't really shop online locally, coz I was afraid of security. But guess what... I've a found a website I can trust. That's Zalora Thailand.  I've been shopping here for a while, but with this post, I  received some special coupon for this purchase!!!

And this is what I pick up!!!

Red and Gray

Another outfit from Japan. Right now, I'm already in BKK, but I still have some outfit I haven't posted... so here it is.

Since autumn is coming... I'm pretty into red and wine color. Not only for the outfits, but also for lips and nails as well.

Long Shirt for Autumn

Alternative Snacks

Before I start listing some of the stuffs I find satisfying when I need to snack, I just wanted to let you know that there are more examples on the internet, and all you have to do is just google them. These are the stuffs that are easy to find around my area and taste great at the same time.

And also remember that when eating any of these “healthy” snacks, make sure you add them into your daily macro counts.

Example: If you have nuts for snack, don’t forget to decrease the amount of your fat intake for dinner.

Baked Sweet Potato

You can go for the normal potato, or sweet potato, but I think sweet potato taste way better… or is it just me. Anyways with potatoes, they contain approximately about 100 to 120 calories per 1 potato (about 100 grams), … calm down, I know it sounds a lot, but it got only 2 to 4 grams of fat.  I prefer sweet potato, coz yes, it’s sweeter, meaning they contain more sugar, but natural sugar. But sweet potato also contains more beta carotene, more fiber, higher in vitamin c, and super high vitamin A. White potato will contain more potassium and phosphorus, and lesser in sugar…. But hey… not much of a difference… I’ll go for sweet potato.

Purple and White

Yes.. I now have purple hair. Well the truth is, I asked for a gray-ish silver shade, but my stylist insist going really vivid on the first coloring, and after a few wash the color will set into a nice shade I want. So... here it is, purple hair! About the outfit.. I think I'm really like into wearing white this year. I just realise I have a lot of white stuff in my closet, and I'm wearing them pretty often. By the way, the hologram bag is one of my design. 

そうです、パープルヘアーでございます。本当はシルバーグレー系の色をオーダーしたんですが、スタイリストが、最初は濃い方がいいと、、、そうすると何回か洗えばいい感じの色になりますと、、、なので、この色です。今回のコーデはなんですが、またまた白、着てますね。最近、クローゼットの中、白いものでいっぱいです。ちなみにホログラムのカバンは私デザインです。

CL inspired outfit

So, in my previous post, I posted a video on how to do a CL (2NE1)'s inspired makeup. This time it's the outfit!!! By the way, everything in this look are from flea market and street market here in Bangkok (except the shoes). I know, amazing right?! You can get all these stuff from street market. Bangkok is a shopping paradise!

I know people know me more as a Japanese Rock Band... fan girl... and also a band girl... but I actually like some cool K-POP as well. And here is one of my favourite band, 2NE1. I love love love CL so much!. Which is why I'm doing this look today .... in vdo! so enjoy!

Vintage Denim Jacket

It's was my first time in London, so I definitely wanted to check out their vintage area... I didn't really buy anything much, but I really love the vibe.

London Bath Salisbury (Part 2)

Ok... let's do part 2.  This was Saturday, and we didn't wanna go anywhere far, so we started the day with St Paul's Cathedral, Tower of London and British Museum.

ではでは、パート２の始まりです！二日目なので、あまり遠くへは行きたくなく、まずはセイントポール教会、タワーオブロンドン、ブリティッシュミュージアムに行きました。

St. Paul's Cathedral... can't take photo inside so... I have only photos outside. But I can tell you that it was very, very beautiful inside. The moment you stepped in, it's like you can feel silent choir of angel all over... I don't really know how to explain this feeling, but I'm literally trying to just put in words what came into my head.

教会の中は写真禁止なので、外の写真オンリーです。中は本当神秘的で感動しました。あまり言葉では説明できないのですが、とにかく感動でした。

Denim Overall

I'm in London right now, but I realised that I didn't post anything last week, so... I'm gonna post from here!

Denim Overall, is like... you saw your mom wore it back in the days, you wore them when you were a kid, and today,you still wear them. Even though the style, the fit may change through out the years, I think Overall are just a classic piece you should have in your closet as well. This one I'm wearing is a skinny fit type, which I never had. Made my butt look even bigger, but nah... who cares.

実は今ロンドンなんです。でも先週、全然ブログ更新、無しだったので、ここからやります。

オーバーオールってもしかして、とてもクラシックなコーデだと思う。だって、多分、お母さんも着てたし、子供の頃の自分も着てたし、今でもトレンドは止まることなく、形や色は変わっても、まだみんな着てるしね。このオーバーオールはスキニータイプで、私のお尻をよりデカく見せてしまってますが、まあ、いいか。。。

Pastel Day

So it's been raining everyday here in Bangkok. Good things about rain is that... the weather's cool. The bad thing is,... yeah.. wet. I love wearing platform shoes during this season, coz I can walk into the puddle of water without getting my feet wet. Even though it's not a sunny season.... more cloud, I still want to wear pastel and color.   

今、バンコクは梅雨です。いいことは、とても涼しくて過ごしやすいこと、悪いことは、、、ぬれる。こんな季節にはプラットフォームは私には必要です。フラットフォームなら水たまりとかも大丈夫、足がぬれない。雨だからって、暗いコーデは嫌だし、なるべくパステルやカラフルなコーデをしてます。

I can say that Jeans / Denims are wardrobe essentials for all girls (and men). You can dress them casual, dress them up, dress them formal, can be slouchy and can be form fitted. Whatever your favorite jeans are, the best jeans are the one's that best fits you. If I need a pair of jeans, a good one, the most important part of buying is all about "trying it on".

As you may know that Thailand is big on street shops and market with a very reasonable price. But let me tell you, a good pair of jeans is one of those thing you can't find it on street. You need to try it on. And trying a pair of jeans in the middle of the street without proper fitting room in this hot weather is just CRAZY.

I do most of the jeans shopping inside the department store here in Bangkok. I usually go to place like... ZARA, BERSHKA, Forever 21, H&M... and you know the gist...

But guest what... Joe's Jeans Boutique just opened in Bangkok!!! It's located in one the most popular department store, Central World, on the Groove zone Floor 1.

Gray Lady

I don't really have any lady-like outfit... this would probably be the closest. Not that I'm not a lady or anything, but the hot tropical weather here in Bangkok just doesn't permit me to dress in layers or anything girly. Not only the weather but the roads here are not built for walking, yes... the foot path are so tiny and usually filled with broken pieces of bricks... holes, and puddle of water (which I have no idea where the waters come from).

あまりガーリーなコーデをしないのは、別に私が女の子らしくないとかそんなんじゃないんですよ、実は、、、バンコクって暑いじゃないですか、そうするとレイヤーとかガーリー系ってなんとなくムリ。後、道が悪いこと。道がボロボロだったり、穴とがあいてたり、変なとこに水たまりとかあったりして、歩きにくいんですよ。なので、いつもカジュアルになっちゃうんです。

SOFT BOHO WITH NAKED 3 PALETTE

Summer is already here in Bangkok, and it’s really hot. So today I’m going to use my brand new Urban Decay NAKED 3 palette to create a soft bohemian look. It’s hot, and I don’t really want to put a lot of makeup, want to keep as natural look as possible, yet I need something fun to put on, before I leave my house. I like fun.
As I mentioned in my instagram as well, this palette is like… every color’s practical. I have NAKED 2 palette as well, but there are some colors I hardly use, but for NAKED 3, I think I can use any color and the finished look will still have that soft, natural tone.

Sport Style (สไตล์สปอร์ต)

I know it's nothing new for sporty style. Essentially you just include sport's themed item to your looks. But how are you going to wear them to match with the trend?

1. Well the first thing you should consider for this year is the length of your tops. That's right, sports, but cropped top will be it!!! ความยาวของท็อปส์หรือเสื้อมีผลมาก ปีนี้ยังไงก็ต้องเสื้อครอป

2. Or you can wear a long one, but try tugging into your shorts. จะยาวก็ได้ แต่ลองใส่เข้าในกางเกง

3. And of course, your shorts should be a high waist. กางเกงขาสั้นควรเป็นเอวสูง

4. As for shorts, try the running shorts (track pants) kinda look. กางเกงขาสั้นสไตล์กางเกงวิ่ง
